The world of children’s books is constantly expanding, with new independent authors and illustrators bringing fresh stories, ideas, and creativity to young readers. Many of these books don’t come from traditional publishing houses, but instead are shared directly by creators and readers across platforms like X (Twitter), where communities gather to discover and support new work.
This spotlight series is dedicated to highlighting children’s books shared by independent creators on X. The goal is simple: to give visibility to stories that deserve to be seen, and to help readers, parents, and educators discover new books they may not come across in traditional bookstores.
If you are an author or illustrator with a children's book you'd like featured, we'd love to hear from you. Submit your book for consideration by emailing pandapages@outlook.com or messaging us on X @thoughtwatching. Selected books will be featured in upcoming posts in this series.
More featured books will be added below as they are submitted.

Bojo the Crow follows a curious little crow whose big appetite quickly turns into something much larger, greed. As Bojo begins to want more than he needs, he starts to lose sight of what really matters, even drifting away from the simple joy of friendship.
Through his journey with a group of bird friends, Bojo slowly learns that happiness is not found in taking more, but in sharing, caring, and celebrating the success and joy of others. It's a warm and thoughtful story about the lessons greed can teach, and the lasting value of kindness and connection.
